Hi! I reinstalled Opensuse 12.2 and everything is running perfectly. I had to because I did not install it right the first time. I followed all the instructions here: http://forums.opensuse.org/content/127-multimedia-restricted-formats-installation-guide-12-2.html.But I did not complete step 4. When I look at the example, I’m guessing I should log in to YAST as superuser. How do I do that? Please advise and thank you in advanced!
Clicking on the green gecko button on the bottom left side of your screen (aka Kick off menu) then going to ‘Computer’ and then clicking YaST should launch it with root previlegdes asking you for the root password. Does this not work for you ?

Thanks. I will try that. I just didn’t know what to do. I was not sure because the screen showed me YAST as superuser and I just wanted to make sure I didn’t have to do anything else. I’m such a newbie it isn’t even funny!
