Log file before failure

Hi,
I recently have a bunch of weird failures. i cannot do anything anymore. Its while running a long java task (hadoop)

Can maybe someone get some information out of this entry (var/log/messages)

Thanks

syslog-ng[2571]: Log statistics; dropped=‘pipe(/dev/xconsole)=0’, dropped=‘pipe(/dev/tty10)=0’, processed=‘center(queued)=2519’, processed=‘center(received)=2474’, processed=‘destination(newsnotice)=0’, processed=‘destination(acpid)=1’, processed=‘destination(firewall)=1741’, processed=‘destination(null)=1’, processed=‘destination(mail)=2’, processed=‘destination(mailinfo)=2’, processed=‘destination(console)=14’, processed=‘destination(newserr)=0’, processed=‘destination(newscrit)=0’, processed=‘destination(messages)=729’, processed=‘destination(mailwarn)=0’, processed=‘destination(localmessages)=0’, processed=‘destination(netmgm)=0’, processed=‘destination(mailerr)=0’, processed=‘destination(xconsole)=14’, processed=‘destination(warn)=15’, processed=‘source(src)=2474’

Nothing strange about that entry, it’s just syslog writing some statistics to the log every so often.

what do you mean by “cannot do anything anymore”? Do you get memory issues, performance issues, what? Also what are those weird failures. Care to describe?
