Im on a restricted bandwidth account, and have a few machines to upgrade to 11.2 (love it so far btw). I need to make one pc host a local repository so i can point the other machines to it. I already made the .repo files have the “keeppackages” option, I just need to know the rest.
If there is anyone (or a tutorial) that can show me that way, I would be greatly appreciative of that.
I have the same situation (limited bandwidth, 10 computers in a lab to update), except I can not get the update repository to download. I use this command from a sudo session:
and get this response. Note that the server tells me the files that need updating, but doesn’t download any files to my local repository. Why is it not downloading files and how do I fix it?:
