LMMS from Geekosdaw stopped working for some part, after I updated thumbleweed

This is the error I get when I start LMMS from the command-line. (LMMS from the GeekOS repository)

Seems to be an Qt issue ?
LMMS still works but it cant find Vestige anymore.

Not sure if the ladspa part is related, the important part for me is about the libvst errors.

Tumbleweed is already at libqt 5.15.9
So you either try symbolic linking or request the maintainers to update their packages for an up to date Tumbleweed…

Thank you, for now I will just wait.

I posted here and on the Linux musicians forum, so my geekos daw friends will see it.

For now if I get impatient , I can use the LMMS appimage version.

Warning to others, only download the appimage file from here:

Download the file, then right click and set it to be executable.

The applmage version came to life because every distro I know of has issues compiling LMMS.
This is also why I am very happy with Geekos DAW.

Usual trouble like this gets fixed within a few days after reporting it. :slightly_smiling_face:

I was thanked for reporting the issue.

And it should be fixed already.

For other using geekos daw, run the geekos updater.

Edit I was too fast, I might have to wait a bit longer for the repository to catch up.

As I was expecting, I just had to wait a bit longer.

I just run Geekos daw update again, and got an updated LMMS.

All is working fine again.

Back to making music. :slightly_smiling_face:
