I am having some difficulties with my wireless router (Thomson TG585v8) and the support staff at my ISP have asked for information regarding the status of the link layer topology discovery and responder protocol (if it is installed at all). When ever I connect via wireless it resets the router almost every time straight away.

Any ideas as to how I can get this info?

openSuse 11.4, 64-bit, Lenovo T400, Intel wireless card, standard kernel

not that it matters, but a temp ‘fix’ was to disable wireless-n on the card.

Please provide more details about the wireless card and driver used. From my experience support for wireless-n is very flaky on Linux.

/sbin/lspci -nnk

will show You exactly what hardware You’ve got and what driver You’re using.
