If you’re not seeing a USB device at all,

Note in the MSWindows reboot,
The first screen includes an option (IIRC may be the first option) that allows rebooting to, or at least mounting any USB connected devices.

I know what option you are talking about but its not there in my computer for some reason.

For testing i also tried debian and manjaro. Both worked.
