While not the same as integrating a native USB creator in Suse itself, here is a guide on getting the Fedora liveusb-creator to actually run in Suse.
These utilities are very handy, especially now that they create persistent bootable media. The Fedora version is actually pretty nice. I would love to see something like this in the next version of Suse. If you would like to try it out, this might assit:
