Hi I know that this might not be the right place to post this but I don’t know where else to go.
I need a copy of the old SUSE-server-9 live-dvd for a test I’m running.
I have gone all over and all I get is 4-installation cd’s.
Do any of you know of a mirror/archive perferably in ftp/http for that?
Pleas help.
I think you will find that the only Live disk available at the time of SUSE 9 was Knoppix. AKAIK, it was one of the 10.n versions that got the first Live disk.
I’ve looked through my Vintage Linux Install Media Library (all (open)SUSE disks in a spindle): john is right, there never was a live-cd, let alone a live-DVD.
O.
Thanks, I will try dooing it with version 10 then.

and, in case you care: the only 10.x version still supported with
updates is 10.3, and that one drops dead the end of October…
you need to download the DVD to get to a server install…
