Live CD versus DVD Installation

Hello, I have installed the Gnome version of the Live CD, I’d like to know what is better, using the DVD to install or the Live CD. What is included in DVD that is missing from the Live CDs.

Is there some comprehensive list op installed programs and such?

Anything that didn’t fit on the CD is missing from it. If you used the GNOME CD, then the KDE stuff is not on it, obviously. And there are other packages not on the LiveCD. If you do the sums, the DVD is more than twice the capacity of one CD.

As long as you got a working install, it doesn’t matter how you started. You can get anything that’s on the DVD and even more by subscribing to the repositories so you have access to every package released, no matter how you installed.
