Linux trickery!!!

Anybody know if there’s a way I can ssh into a remote box and have vlc start a movie on the remote machines display.

I have openvpn setup and can ssh to all my machines. I just want to freak the **** out of my sister when she jumps on the computer.

I am not seeing much support to help trick someone else psybernetik. There are too many bad people out there that will use any method to take advantage of another using a computer. In the old days, having a fake formatting C: prompt in DOS might have been funny or changing your login sound to that of a toilet flushing. I have even had my home page set for the aids hot line. Ha! Ha!, but such foolishness has long passed along with bomb jokes at airports. It is no longer very funny.

Thank You,
