Linux box disconnect when clicking on settings button on VIRTUALBOX ( another story )

On another notebook, same os.

Finally as virtualbox was useless :

  • Have remove every things about virtualbox and the virtual machine.
  • Have reinstall a previous version ( 4.2.6 )
  • Have created a new virtual machine ( Win Xp )

When I click on any options ( general, system, display…) in the virtualbox window, the session close and restart.

Seems to be a graphical problem.

Are you perhaps using an Nvidia graphic card? I noted this behavior on my PC where I’m using Nvidia proprietary drivers. A reinstallation resolved the issue.

I had the same issue. Reinstalling the Nvidia driver corrected the issue for me.
