I use Linphone as a VoIP agent and my contacts are in Kontact. The Kontact gives option to write a command to open a desire application on clicking on the phone number on some of the contacts. I wrote “linphone” and on the clicking on phone number in Kontact Lipnphone appears, but I have to enter the desire number manually . What command I have to write in Kontact in order the clicked number to appear in the Linphone’s entry along with appear of the application itself. I am not familiar with writing scripts.

In many applications i see =<program name> &U= to pass the clicked onitem
as an argument to the program being called. I suppose that you can try
it. It might work.
I followed the tips in Kontact which says then adding %n or %N after the application name that will pass the phone number directly to the application entry . But that does not happen . Clicking on the phone number invokes the program and it appears but the phone number should be entered manually or with copy/paste .
If simply entering " linphone %n " is not enough what should I write in the Kontact to pass the phone number and invoke the program with the clicking on the phone number ?
