Sometimes, when I use Google it gives me a couple of links to the forum. But when I click on a link, I reach the main forums page. I feel, forums engine bahaves such way, when I’m not logged in. Isn’t it annoing? Are there any reasons not to provide convinient way to get useful information from the forums for people, who aren’t registered?

This appears to be a general problem with the system:
You also fall back to some general page if you plan to reply to some content
and are redirected to the login. After a successful login there is a link:
back to last page (or similar) but that link actually drops you off at a
general page.
A permalink/rewriting problem ?

From what I understand, it’s likely a cookie problem of some kind. If
you go back to the page with the original URL after you’ve logged in (or
even after you’ve followed it once), the proper page opens.
