Has anyone stumbled upon some nice DVD cover for openSUSE 11.2??
Hi BenderBendingRodriguez,
I find this fantastic and made by a forum member.

Thanks!! Though i don’t really like the 11.2 (i don’t have colors on LightScribe:’() Thanks anyway:)
P.S. I’m cooking my own dvd label then
I thought lightscribe is in monochromatic. As I see it vintage use a nice blending of tone that I feel will have a nice mono effect. Just my observation and I hope it will come true.
(This is not a paid promo/advertisement)
Monochromatic is like black and white to me
It is still no colors allowed
It would be nice if light scribe could do colors but the technology is
where polaroid was when it first came out. Maybe in the future.
Bender, what program do you use for light scribe?
I wanted to use the tool from lightscribe.com website but it is supported ONLY with the old gcc 3.3 so no lightscribe on 11.2
Anyway, i remember when i used lightscribe on Windows i had A LOT better quality of the image than using the native linux tool.
I will have to give Wine a go and try to burn it through wine.

Hmm from the look of it i think i was using that. Unfortunatelly image is not as crisp and sharp as using Windows and this is not subjective but i can compare 11.0 and 11.1 dvd label (11.1 was made with lacie IIRC).
I tried the application from lightscribe and lacie, both work perfectly and without problems.
Lacie is the only program I was able to find that prints a picture.
Hp’s simple labeler only allows text and a simple scroll around the cd
There is another thread going on here , where some of the users used a packaged they call “4L”.
11.2 CD Labels - openSUSE Forums
I assume 4L is the Lacie product you refer to ?
LaCie - LightScribe Labeler for Linux
Yes it is
Now if I could only burn the label to a SD chip that I dd’d the iso tolol!
Isn’t better to get a sticker on it ;)??
I think I understand the problem. I tried to squeeze my USB stick into my DVD burner, but the darn drive refused to close. rotfl!
Yeah, and after that they dare to tell you at the cCustomer Service that an sd disk is not a supported media, how come it is not supported if it did fit in??
