Licencing issue

I’m currently creating a package for Unvanquished (FPS based on ioquake/xreal) and I want to create a package for the assets (models, sounds, etc). The issue is that most of the assets are released under the CC-BY-SA-NC. I understand that this licence can’t go in the OpenSuse repositories however I couldn’t find any information about whether this was allowed on the OBS. If anyone has any information about whether this is ok or can point me in the right direction then that would be great.

Hi
It should be ok it’s on the SPDX list…
http://spdx.org/licenses/

There is also here;
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Accepted_licences

Best this to do is raise a bug for the legal team to review (it takes
time) else ask on the Build Service Mailing List;
https://en.opensuse.org/Communicate

The other option is to create your own OBS instance and distribute as
you like…
