Does anybody know where i can find the libtiff3-3.8.2-108.2.i586.rpm?

That’s why i’m looking for:

just select opensuse.

Maybe it’s the mirror your using. Grab it from another mirror and
install manually
http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.0/rpm/i586/libtiff3-3.8.2-108.2.i586.rpm?mirrorlist

Then use;


sudo rpm -Uhv <path_to_download_location>libtiff3-3.8.2-108.2.i586.rpm

Or is there a possibility to exclude this file (and all its dependencies) from zypper update?

I had no problems finding it at either link I posted? It does sound
like the mirror your being directed to may not have that file yet…

If you wish to exclude, I would use YaST so you can select the files
you wish to update etc.

I would suggest waiting a few hours and retry the update…
