Hi,
since my last ‘zypper dup’ call, I am not able to start any Libre Office programs anymore.
The error I get when starting LO from command line:
> libreoffice
/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/libmergedlo.so: undefined symbol: hb_graphite2_face_get_gr_face
>
The very same error seems to be known from Ubuntu: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1270807/libreoffice-wont-launch-on-ubuntu-20-04
However, the suggested solution – deleting and reinstalling libreoffice – doesn’t work for me.
Does anyone have a clue how to solve this?
Cheers
yonne

Hi again,
today’s update (zypper dup) solved the problem. LibreOffice is running again!
Any of the following packages must have been responsible for the fix.
blas-devel espeak-ng gcr-data gcr-lang gcr-prompter gcr-viewer geos-devel gsl gsl-devel gtk4-schema hdf5 hdf5-devel hdf5-devel-data lapack-devel libamd2 libblas3 libcamd2 libcblas3

Based on the former mention askubuntu thread I assume it was the typelib-1_0-HarfBuzz-0_0[FONT=arial] upgrade.
