LibreOffice stops taking keyboard input.

Just recently LibreOffice Calc has started behaving peculiarly. I open the application and start working away and everything is fine. After 10 or 15 minutes, it starts ignoring keyboard input. Mouse input works fine, but neither keyboard commands nor keyboard entry into spreadsheets works at all. This happens both in 4.4.1.2 from the OpenSUSE 13.2 LibreOffice factory repository and 4.3.6.2 from the LibreOffice site. Closing the application and restarting clears it up for 10 or 15 minutes when it starts happening again. Before the recent KDE update I did not have this problem, so I’m guessing it has something to do with that. I haven’t used the other LibreOffice applications for any length of time recently, so I can’t speak to those.

Is this a known issue?

It is not a known problem but in some applications the text cursor ceases to operate when the mouse cursor is not within the text entry area.

It happens with the mouse cursor in the text area. I’ve explicitly clicked the mouse in various cells after it starts, and even so, it will not take text.
