LibreOffice roadmap for openSuse

Is there any roadmap for LibreOffice in OpenSuse 12.2 ?
The Unstable is 3.6.1 and has been for a while. I just
wondered if there are any plans afoot for 3.6.2 or 3.6.3
since it’s only a couple of weeks away.

Ask the maintainers. They would be the ones to know.

as a general rule, openSUSE does not roll newly released applications
into an already released version of openSUSE, just because the vendor
(be that KDE, LO, or other) has released a new version…

instead, show stopping bug fixes and security patches are released as
they become available for the version of the application which was
included with any particular openSUSE release…

that is to say: openSUSE is not a “rolling release” always trying to
have in (say) the 12.2 version’s repos the very latest of everything
imaginable…

more here: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Maintenance_policy which
says, among other things: “we are not operating openSUSE maintenance as
rolling update release at this time, currently please use Tumbleweed for
this. (So no version updates for the sake of the version update).”

so, you might expect newer LO to appear in Tumbleweed, if you wish to
use that you need to read its limitation and the special
responsibilities you take on by using it: http://tinyurl.com/69mj3zj and
http://tinyurl.com/3ljwanm

and, with reference to the earlier answer–don’t bother the maintainers:
your answer is in the wiki URL above…

But LO is different, because Novell is a sponsor (or it was last time I
looked). LO should appear in a repo maintained directly by Novell on the
same day.

The OP didn’t ask about the official release, he asked about the status of the unstable releases. These can be obtained on the Build Service and the best people to ask about the schedule are those maintaining that project.

i stand (sit) corrected…thank you (and Carlos) for doing so nicely
