LibreOffice Icons Official

How do I install the new LibreOffice Icons in opensuse 11.4 KDE, instead of the opensuse branded ones?. They look to much like openoffice.

Where are those Icons to download?

Hello and welcome have you already install Libre Office?

Yes I have. Installed when 11.4 was installed. Libre-Office 3.3.1 has new icons. But on opensuse you get openoffice style icons, and not the libreoffice ones. How can you remove openofice style and install libreoffice icons.

When I upgraded libre office (either as part of kde 4.6.1 upgrade or on its own, I cannot remember and I am not at the machine I did it on) the icons changed to the new ones.

At the stable repo there are a number of icon packages - crystal, tango, high-contrast, etc., not pulled in when you switch from Ooo to libreoffice. I don’t know which is the official one - if any - but it does give you choice.

I noticed that all the icon sets were installed when I updated to 3.3.2. That may be all you need.

I think the OP means the icons we see in the KDE menus, the panel, the desktop. My guess is that you have to replace the manually in the icon theme currently used.

I have this problem, but it is not problem for me.

But it was not like that before.
At least in my case, before kde 4.6, I could change an icon in, for instance, dolphin. Right click on a file, Properties, Type, etc. Or System settings, File assotiations, etc.
But now this seems impossilbe. The icon doesn’t change.
And not only for libreoffice.

Correct, so how do I get the official icons on to my desktop and menu. I look like I’m using openoffice and not libreoffice. Any packages that I need to install or remove to make the changes. Or are the official icons placed in a folder somewhere.

I have Libre Office from their website installed as the version included with opensuse was buggy.

Anyways, After the installation the icons were located in /opt/gnome/share/icons/gnome/48x48/apps/

I used the KDE menu editor to add them to the apps in my menu.

My opt/gnome/share… folder is empty.
