For a month or two I have been trying to install a en_NZ dictionary for Libreoffice.
It is available from the openoffice extensions page - which I am directed to by selecting Libreoffice > Tools > Language > More Dictionaries Online.
However for the past month or two this page has had problems. Every time I click on any of the extensions I am taken to an error page that states “The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”
Anybody have any idea what is up over there? Does nobody maintain the openoffice extension pages any more?
Surely for the amount of time the site has been giving errors somebody would have noticed.

i do not understand why you ask that here…why not ask the folks who
made the problematic page? the first page of the wiki
<http://libreplanet.org/wiki/Main_Page> lists points of contact

if i were you i would ask them that question…
well, i just kept clicking “try again” over and over and eventually i
got to the dictionary page…it is from 2008 and for openoffice 3.0.0
but i guess it might work ok…
the page i finally connected to was
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/project/dict-en-nz-2008-12-03
the download link is:
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/download/1666
and installation documentation is
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/resources/user/howto_install
developer resources at
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/resources
i have no idea if it will work or not–please read my caveat, good luck.

I asked here because I wasn’t sure where or who to ask over at the extensions website because there were no contacts listed.
I thought that surely someone else here at opensuse must have struck the problem and might have an idea of what is going on.
I’ll send something off to the libreoffice people - although the libreoffice wiki appears to be a different set of people to the openoffice extensions pages.
The page seems to be loading OK at the moment - by refreshing a few times it seems to come up (it would not do this earlier)
Yes, I am aware the last update of the dict file is from 2008.
However, I am also aware that it works fine with the latest release of Libreoffice as I have used it previously.
Lost it when I had probs with libreoffice and had to remove all files and run a clean install to correct my prob.
