Libreoffice doesn't print landscape files properly

This doesn’t works for me, in my psprint.conf edited as superuser PSLevel=0 is already present, in this way “; PSLevel=0” so I added only “PSLevel=0” (without “” and  just in the blank row under it
but PDFDevice=0 is absent at all, so I added just in the blank row under “PSLevel=0” (without “”), I tried to print in landscape but doesn’t works, is there any news about this bug???
thnx, ciao  pier

I have this same annoying problem. I tried to print landscape spreadsheets yesterday. I experimented doing different things.
Here is what seems to work: 1.) change alignment back to portrait, 2.) save the document as Unified Office Format spreadsheet
(Flat XML) with (.fods) file extension, and 3.) print the resulting (.fods) document… It worked for me…Hope this helps…

A workaround for LO that I’ve seen and tried successfully is to

  1. Launch spadmin
/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/spadmin

Select the printer > Properties > Device, change printing language type from PDF to PS (eg PostScript Level 3)

  1. For the document concerned, change the page format with Format > Page… > Page, select ‘Landscape Orientation’

  2. Print the document

I am experiencing the same issue.

But this seems to be a printer driver issue.

I am having several hp laser printer here.

HP Color LaserJet 3000 Postscript (recommended)
HP LaserJet p2015n Series, hpcups 3.14.6

hpcups for the p2015 did not work right
the postscript one for the 3000 at the them time did.

So I changed the hpcups to the postscript one and this did the trick

HP Color LaserJet 3000 Postscript (recommended)
HP LaserJet P2015 Series Postscript (recommended)

Go to
http://localhost:631/printers/
and change your printer driver

Edit: I just have seen that someone found this solution in this thread already

That ‘solution’ depends on the printer being a postscript capable printer. Not all hardware is, and in any case the HPLIP drivers generally offer better printing features/quality.
