LibreOffice DDE Creates Blank Tables

When I copy a range of cells from Calc and then Paste Special into Writer and select DDE it creates the correct size table but there is no data in the cells.

Does someone know what the cause of this would be? I figure it’s either a bug or there’s something I have setup wrong.

Likewise here, all works fine including updating cells on the fly in the writer document.

If you create a test user and duplicate, does the issue duplicate, this should eliminate a system or user issue.
