Libreoffice: Database wizard problem

Since I’ve make the move to Opensuse 13.2 I encounter problems with the
database wizard of Libreoffice. The dropdown menu of “connecting to an
existing database” is not displayed.

I’m using KDE 4.14.3, Libreoffice 4.3.5.2 (with libreoffice-kde4)
The same problem occurs also on my other machine running Opensuse 13.2/
KDE4.

I really run out of ideas to fix this. I’ve tried several things such as
scale down/up the user interface. This helps as long as Libreoffice is up
and running, but after a restart the problem is there again.
The only thing that helps for the moment is running Libreoffice without
the KDE4 integration.

Anyone an idea how to fix this?

I’m not running 13.2 here, so just throwing stuff at the wall… Can you create an icon, start menu item, or the like, pointing to the actual file, that would bring up the default application for it. A possible workaround while they work on the bug you submit?

I think I haven’t make myself very clear.
Point is that the window, which appears when you do “new → database” in
writer or calc seems to be too small to show all available options. The
window is not resizable. This means I can’t get to the last option
“connect to existant database”. This also means I can’t create a new
database from a spreadsheet which I need later on to print out adress
labels.

Pictures explain something better things then words

That’s how Libreoffice looks like with the kde4 intergration package
installed. The dropdown menu of the last option is not visible

Without libreoffice-kde4. All options are visible.

Openoffice doesn’t have this odd behaviour at all.
