LibreOffice bugs

Some days ago many KDE users after the update of LibreOffice got some bugs as a result

  1. The horizontal scroll bar in application has abnormal size and is not moveable by the mouse
  2. Calc crashes when moving sheets with mouse
  3. Probably the list is wider…
I’ve seen the topic concerning freezing of the scroll bar, but my question is: who is responsible for this update and where should I put information about this bug: to Novel bugzilla or to openOffice one?
Probably anyone has any comments as I know only two ways to solve the problem:
  4. using GTK+ style for applications (I don’t like it and prefer oxygen)
  5. removing libreoffice-kde4 package - in this case all above mentioned bugs are removing, but the style of dialog looks badly

Novell, of course.

Another workaround for horizontal scrolling is to use the middle mouse button/wheel.

I can confirm the horizontal scroll bar bug.
I must add that my wife is using libreoffice for her job on opensuse 11.4 : i add to forbid the 3.4.2 update and roll back to 3.3 since she had too many bugs, slow operations, segfaults, etc…
That’s a real problem and this is not normal for opensuse to let things go that way.
We need an office application that is working correctly.

I had the problem with the scroll bar, I downloaded 3.4.3 direct from the
LibreOffice website. The scroll bar works fine in it. Only fails in the
Novell version 3.4.2 so it should probably be reported to Novell. I think
there is already a bug reported there. I know ther is one on LibreOffice
Bugzilla.

I have not found a 3.4.3 version on the build service so I have both the
Novell and LibreOffice versions installed. been using 3.4.3 for all spread
sheet work. I know of what appear to be bugs in the table -->number format
options. I will be searching to see if they have been reported. I know they
were for earlier versions.
