Libre office 4.1 has been out a while now, and am just wondering why suse has not rolled out the update, or am i just being daft??
And what openSUSE version are you talking about?
13.1 (will be released in less than a month) does contain libreoffice 4.1.2.3.
And it is openSUSE’s policy to not provide version upgrades to released versions since ever (only bugfixes/security fixes).
That said, if you want to have libreoffice 4.1 for a released openSUSE version, you can install it from here:
software.opensuse.org: Install package LibreOffice:Unstable / libreoffice

Which is way Tumbleweed was created.
Ken
But Libreoffice 4 isn’t in Tumbleweed either.
Take up the advice that as not yet November remains time to install openSUSE 13.1 RC and join its’ quality control by checking out the 4.1.2 release of libreoffice
