libre-office integration problem

Hello,

after upgrading to opensuse 13.1, I ran the tool rpmorphan and uninstalled libre-office environment, I reinstalled verify i have lost the visual integration with oxygen, it looks like the windows 98.

No what package I need to achieve integration, these are what I have installed:

libreoffice-base-extensions, libreoffice-branding-openSUSE, libreoffice-icon-theme-oxygen, libreoffice-kde4.

Greetings.

At my last upgrade there was a problem with the KDE4 integration with libreoffice and so I removed that package. I have Galaxy, High-contrast, Tango and Crystal installed.

BTW did you install using YaST?

Uninstall “ibus”. This package effectively disables the KDE4 integration.

Great, ibus I uninstalled, rebooted and have recovered integration.

What is the use ibus?

It is needed for input on some languages. Search for “Intelligent Input Bus” on wikipedia.

To the OP: there’s a bug in standard libreoffice-kde4 and kwin that might freeze the desktop when dragging a selection of cells in LO Calc.

Wolfi323 (thanks Wolfi!) published patched libreoffice-kde4 packages (both for the standard and LibreOffice repos) that fix this. More info and links at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851356#c4
