hi all,
I am facing this problem on opensuse 10.3, (we are in process of upgrading to 12.1)
guanglei@compute-1-33 ~/IBM_PDK_610]$ /home/msvlsi_rehan/export/opt/Cadence/IC610/tools/dfII/bin/64bit/virtuoso: error while loading shared libraries: libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
could you please help me figure out this?
Thanks,
Raj
Hi
It’s part of the Mesa package, hopefully it exists for 10.3…
Thanks Malcolmlewis,
could you tell me how do I install mesa package?
Hi
I’m assuming your still on 10.3? It’s not SUSE Linux Enterprise? Run the command and post back the details;
cat /etc/SuSE-release
If it is openSUSE, then you need to look at grabbing it from a mirror openSUSE:Mirrors - openSUSE
SuSE-release
home/liuc>cat /etc/SuSE-release
openSUSE 10.3 (X86-64)
VERSION = 10.3
home/liuc>
You should be able to reinstall or install the Mesa libraries by using
this copies of the old 10.3 repositories
ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/discontinued/distribution/10.3/
ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/discontinued/update/10.3/
it seems that all old rpm’s are still available there.
