I was compiling the application, gnome-chemistry-utils, when i got this error
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.4/…/…/…/…/x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: warning: libatiuki.so.1, needed by /usr/X11R6/lib64/libGL.so.1, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
I searched a bit and it seems the file has something to do with an ATI Catalyst driver. Now, i have a ATI Radeon graphics card, but i can’t figure out what to do.
If any of you guys could help me i would be grateful.
Could you tell us a bit more?
Which version of openSUSE?
KDE or GNOME?
Which version of gnome-chemistry-utils are you trying to compile?
And where did you get it from?
Are you aware that it is already available in the repositories?
I installed the proprietary graphics driver from ATI, and everything worked well.
BTW, which repo is it in, because i can’t seem to find it ?
I have the openSUSE and Packman repos by now.
I thought it was available in the default repositories.
It turned out it is available in the Education repo.
You can use the one-click install. Here’s the link.
