Lenovo x200 - fingerprint reader is not recognized

And again problem… fingerprint reader is not recognized.

I use opensuse 11.0, kernel 2.6.27 and Gnome :wink:

I installed all libraries, and when I go to YaST -> Fingerprint reader it says that device unavailable in the system

I think I will open thread just for ThinkPad x200 users :wink: I really do not want to move to Ubuntu… I love openSUSE but i have so strange problems ;(

Any idea?

I’m having the same problem.
my old thinkpad worked great, but they are using a different type of finger print reader (Authentec 2810) and there isn’t any driver to be found.
it’s sad the companies don’t support there own products.
