I took part to my first webcall by browser, it was on Big Blue Button.
In-built webcam wasn’t recognized.
Microphone was metallic and didn’t give an audible outcome.
I’s a Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IML05 (81WB).
OpenSUSE Tumbleweed.
Any tip?

A camera seems to be there, you may also check with inxi -Gazpossibly with the options inxi -Gaz | grep "174f:118d" or inxi -Gaz | grep uvcvideo.
Ideapads have a “privacy” slider that may cover the webcam lens, check that it is in the open position.
So it doesn’t work with Cheese? If not you could check privacy settings or make sure there’s no switch or Fn + another key to turn on or off, or as a last resort you could check the BIOS. Failing that if you really need a aweb cam then a USB one should work & would probably be better quality.
Hehehe, it took me 2 days to find the thing on a friend’s 2nd hand IdeaPad Slim laptop. He had been struggling with it too on Windows, put Leap on it and turned to me in despair. The little niple to actually open the slider was made very “private”, i.e. well hidden in the design.
