Left hand mouse in KDE-6 on Wayland not working

I upgraded to openSUSE-16.0 with KDE as my desktop environment.

I have my mouse set to left handed, but on openSUSE-16.0 with KDE-6.x on Wayland this (the mouse) is not working.

If I switch the session from Wayland to X, the is working left handed.

Does anyone have experience with this?
Is there a way to debug?
Where should the bug be landed, with KDE, openSUSE or somewhere else?

Did you test with a fresh user profile? No issues with wayland and left hand mouse here.

It is a new installation.

Although I started with openSUSE-15.6 (for the better partition possibilities) in the afternoon, and later I upgraded to openSUSE-16.0.

Thanks for letting me know that it is working for you.

Hi @rbos,

The “fresh user” is not about the age of the install. Even if your installation is rather new, some changes may have already been made to your existing user profile. Creating a new user shall guarantee that a test is done with pure system standard conditions. If the problem exists with the new user it may very likely be a system issue. If the issue does not exist with this user, it is limited to the affected user’s home.

Hi,
It appeared that there are more mouse devices seen/detected.
I changed the left handed setting for “another” mouse.
If I change the setting for the correct mouse, it just works (of course)

Thanks to all that responded! :+1:
