I’m trying to install Leap 42.2 on a new hp spectre. USB type C only connections. Created the usb install disk using opensuse image writer. it boots int system fine and allows me to choose Install from the menu. It then starts, shows “loading basic drivers” it finds the Kingston usb stick, and Intel wifi, but then stops with a window "Please make sure your installation medium is available. Choose the URL to retry. Options are cd:/, hd:/, http://download.opensuse.org…, Enter another URL. Seems to have lost the connection to the usb? Sound familiar to anyone? Ideas?
I appreciate any help or possible solutions.
Continued online search and found a solution to this issue. Seems that on the Spectre x360 only the power Type C connector will work for installation. I then ran into a problem that others have: No working sound. Seems to be a problem with BIOS.
