I am trying to install Suse Leap 42.2 in Dell R230 server. Installation does not have any error after installation completed I am unable to see login window.
Previously installed Operating System was Suse 13.2.
Do you mean the system boots to text mode instead?
Was this an upgrade or a fresh installation?
What does “systemctl status display-manager” and “systemctl get-default” say?
1.not text mode, only black screen appear
2.Fresh Installation.
3. can’t check those option because without login can’t login to desktop.
Well, that’s even worse then… :\
2.Fresh Installation.
And what kind of installation? (GNOME, KDE, …)
What hardware? (graphics card in particular)
- can’t check those option because without login can’t login to desktop.
Can you get to text mode via Ctrl+Alt+F1?
Have you tried booting to “recovery mode” (“Advanced Options” in the boot menu)?

2.Its a KDE Desktop. On board graphics Intel.
3.Have to check, thanks for the info
