Leap 16.0: move from AppArmor to SELinux

For whatever reason, the “opensuse-migration-tool” didn’t offer the option to upgrade from Leap 15.6 with AppArmor to Leap 16.0 to SELinux.

Therefore the question:

  • Do the instructions in the Portal:SELinux/Setup for Tumbleweed also apply to Leap 16.0?
    <Portal:SELinux/Setup>

Or, is there anything in addition to what’s written there which is needed for the Leap 16.0 case?

yes, if you want to switch to SELinux, the steps are the same. Will edit the Wiki to reflect that

@rrahl0:

OK. Many thanks.

P.S.: I’ve now moved to SELinux on this system with those Wiki instructions – everything went fine – no issues – I removed the AppArmor packages and pattern while in permissive mode.
