digiKam is offered in the KDE Extras repo but can’t be installed:

and same problem for recoll.
Is there a workaround?
Will Leap 16.1 resolve this problem?

Did you properly follow the wiki instructions which explain that you need all KDE repos?
I guess you are using https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/KDE_Applications_openSUSE_Leap_16.0/
which is building with packages from the KDE:{Qt6,Frameworks,Applications} devel projects.
You can try this instead
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_Leap_16.0/

and added:
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_Leap_16.0/
and I was then able to install and run digikam 9.1.0 and Recoll 1.44.1
successfully.

Replying to hui’s question 27 Aug 2026 11:37: no, I was not aware that I
needed to follow any wiki instructions on this topic. Once I discovered the
libQt6Core.so.6 Qt_6.11 problem, I did a lot of searching but found nothing,
hence raising this issue in the forum. I’m very pleased that it has been
resolved per JS’ suggestion.
