I’ve made a clean installation of openSUSE Leap 15.0.
I’ve kept the home partition (the original system was 42.3).
The system didn’t install the new default wallpaper (while, obviously, it has been installed on another computer in which the home partition has been formatted too).
After the installation, I’ve found only the old ones.
How can I install the latest wallpaper?
Thanks.
Which desktop environment? For KDE… right-click on the desktop > Configure Desktop > Add Image… > add the required images (eg /usr/share/wallpapers/…) > click on ‘Apply’ when done.
BTW, it is ‘wallpaper-branding-openSUSE’ that contains the default wallpapers…

Try setting your desktop to use the default wallpaper.
My experience is that the wallpaper is updated to the new one. But KDE keeps the old thumbnail. So the selection of desktop wallpapers is misleading. If I click on the old default, I actually get the new default.
Yes, it’s KDE.
I’ve added the default wallpaper … very nice … lol!
Many Thanks!
