I had issues with videos in Firefox and Brave after updating from 15.5 to 15.6.
I finally solved the issue by changing the frame rate from 30 to 60 (as it was in 15.5).
Jerky videos are now gone.
Hope this helps other with video problems.

It’s great you solved the jittery video issue. There have been a few posts complaining about it, mostly Firefox users.
Some additional info would be helpful.
a) what video card(s) is used?
b) what Desktop Environment is being used? (KDE, Gnome, etc)
c) are you using X or Wayland windowing system?
d) is this a laptop or desktop?
e) is the monitor an external monitor?
(obviously if using a laptop)
f) “where” are you changing the FPS setting?
I have both laptops and desktop - All Dell with intel 8th 10th and 12th gen with their integrated gpu.
I use X and will not ever use Wayland. I have too many applications over 40 years that are X.
I use MATE desktop for all my machines - I have KDE and Gnome guests but they use VirtualBox video driver attached to the host.
In MATE - Systems > Preferences > Hardware > Display shows the options and frame rates
It was the same on Laptops and External Monitors on Desktops - did not matter if HDMI or Display Port connection.
MATE is basically Gnome 2. I do not like change for the sake of change.
I am too old to change. MATE looks like Windows XP or Vista. Computers should not look like a phone.
