Leap 15.4 curl update and zypper issues

Hi there,

there was a curl update for 15.4 today, IIRC even important.
Did the bugged curl version cause problems with zypper? Because, before updating curl manually today, zypper gave some error messages. After installing the curl update, zypper worked normally again.

No, the message was different, no host error message.
Can´t remember correctly, /var/log/zypp/history seem to not having catched this error message.
Anyway, it has gone since the last curl update.

same issue here!

curl error 16 in many differents packages, and was needed to press “r” to retry download. Then the package was downloaded, and after a few downloadings I got curl error again, so finally aborted the update.

I read this thread and updated first curl to new version, and after that dup’ed the whole system (huge snapshot!) and all run smoothly!!

Thinking about this, IMHO zypper should include a “retry” default option… I found an issue about this in GitHub…
