LEAP 15.1 to 15.2 upgrade - lost audio mixer in panel, however, audio mixer does work

Been using Opensuse from LEAP 14 through to 15.2, and definitely my favourite distro.

I’ve just updated from LEAP 15.1 to 15.2, and all is well except for one minor issue - I’ve lost audio mixer in the panel, however, audio mixer does work and no problems with sound. I’m using XFCE4.

Here’s my panel:

See the fine black vertical line, that’s where the volume control (audio mixer) should be!

The panel config shows it added - I’ve tried multiple times adding/removing to no effect…

Here’s audio mixer (ALSA) running:

And sound/volume controls work fine!

I did look at the Xfconf settings editor at the ‘xfce4-panel’ and ‘xfce4-mixer’ settings but I have no idea what properties/values I should be checking against!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance! Otherwise, still very happy with LEAP 15.2

I have (on Tumbleweed) the Audio mixer in the panel.

I see that I can Edit the panel by right clicking on it and then “Edit Panel…”. Then I see a Add widget button clicking that pops up a window that way I can for example add Weather Report and that is then added to the panel.

Can you try the same but then see if there is a Audio mixer?
