LCD

I would like to buy a new, bigger LCD but with upcoming new OS from
either side, i wonder if it makes already sense to buy a touch screen
version.

Right now i have a 19" Viewsonic which is ok, but it has the annoying
reminder that it switch the resolution (can’t turn that off).
Anyway, does somebody have a touchscreen and how is that supported with
the desktops like Gnome or KDE.

I would suggest that instead of asking in the chit-chat room, you ask in
the looking for room. Better chances

I didn’t get it. Sorry.
Are you saying that Linux doesn’t support touchscreen? That would be
sad. Anyway, i was just looking for some input in regards of brand or
quality. My assumption was that touchscreen may be the future.

I said neither of the sort.

What I said is that probably you’d have a better chance of responses for
this in the other forum I suggested.

of course then you get finger smudges on the screen - not sure why you want that?
