Please read the entire thread and you will see that the OP insists on getting it working in 6.15
The fixed VB version arrived in factory and should hit the mirrors in the next snapshot.
Iāve just installed the fixed version, and after installing the necessary kernel devel packages, everything appears to be working again.
Kudos to the maintainers for the fast turn-around!
Re the option to use VMWare, I considered that but I tried to get the patches mentioned working - although from a different fork - and couldnāt do it. I may try tiehe kastelic patches, as Iād like to have both VMWare and VB available.
Ultimately, however, Iām going to rip openSUSE off this machine and the Beelink backup - the latter first - and install Proxmox and install enough different virtual machines - in particular Debian and Ubuntu and Fedora - to insure that at least one machine directly supported by developers is capable of functioning with the software I want to run. Itās clear to me that relying on one OS simply doesnāt work these days.
