Sounds like some graphic issues. Or packages from devel and home repos. But due to missing informations it is hard to help. CatWalk sounds like some random external app which is not even available via s.o.o. So also no possibility to help you without further informations.

I keep repo hygiene super clean. But got ancient Radeon on C2D setup. The cursor bug has been confirmed.
The bug with the ancient radeon graphics, should be fixed with the next Plasma updates.
