I ran sudo zypper dup today and KDE as well firefox would not launch, I did not get this issue on my other system, i suspect that is because it did a full repo refresh and my desktop did not.
I honestly never thought I was going to to get a “Can’t log in because Wayland says so” issue, although if Wayland was not working why is kwin_wayland working? Also upon further investigation Beeper was displaying a black window, so I am inclined to say it is probably a graphics issue of some sort. Possibly related to discrete graphics? I dont have this issue on my laptop (integrated graphics). Only on my desktop (discrete AMD graphics).
@40476 Can’t help, don’t run Plasma or AMD graphics on anything important… Just seems there are some issues with that setup…
