Last step in the installation program again and again

Hello!
I just installed opens 11.1 in my laptop and it works… more or less. The most important thing that happens all the times I power on, is that installation (automatic configuration section, the last one) program runs the last step all the times, looking for ethernet cards, adsl devices, and vga.

Finally it says that network is not found…

After that, Gnome Desktop apears, and my wireless connection is fine.

Any ideas?

Please take a minute to check your downloaded media. When booting the DVD you should have the option of a self check to make sure MD5 sum is correct.
Let the check complete and then report back. Your download might have been broken - not very uncommon.
