Shortly after the last KDE update. Boot up and the screen goes black for 30 seconds before the actual login box appears. The login happens but the next splash (breeze) is now shrunken at the sides as though the aspect ratio has gone to 4:3. It stutters through this and then it looks like a timing **** up as the desktop loads in the background behind the splash, takes about another 10 seconds before everything finally snaps into focus and loads properly.
It was all fine before. Remedies?
