Laptop hangs on waking from suspend

I updated to OpenSUSE 13.1 several days ago. My laptop HP 4740s becomes to hang on waking from suspend.
When laptop resumes I see my desktop. I can move mouse cursor but can’t click anything. Desktop is frozen like a static image. Keyboard Numlock and Capslock keys work.
With attempts of switching to text terminal (Ctl+Alt+F1) or restarting X (Ctl+Alt+Backspace+Backspace) laptop is totally hangs. Mouse cursor disappears, keyboard keys don’t react.

When laptop sleeps in text terminal (Ctl+Alt+F1), it resumes without problem. I can switch back to X terminal then.

Please suggest what can be a reason of such behavior and how to fix it.
If additional info is required, ask please.

I recommend you write a bug report on openSUSE-13.1 noting this problem specific to your hardware. There is guidance for bug reports here: openSUSE:Submitting bug reports - openSUSE

You can use your openSUSE forum username and password when logging on to bugzilla.

I note that for 13.1 on my Toshiba Satellite Z930 hardware, suspend works well for the first time (it did not work well on 12.3). So there are likely hardware specific compatibility aspects that need to be addressed here.

Thanks for advice.
