Laptop Acer Aspire & Wifi card not active

Hello All,
I have a Laptop PC Acer Aspire 1710 and OpenSuse 11.2 installed on it
I tried to setup my wifi card but it doesn’t work
I checked the log system log file.
Apparently the driver cannot be loaded :

What can I do to active my wifi card ?
Thanks by advance for your help

What makes you think the driver is not loaded. It says loaded, no error.

Please post output of:
ip addr

Do you use Gnome or KDE4?
Do you have a wired connection available as well?

You may not have the correct firmware installed for your wireless card. You can check out b43 - Linux Wireless this is where I found the correct firmware downloads for my broadcom card. I’m using a BCM4306 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller.

Thanks for your help
