Language controls

I know that this is an international forum and I am glad to see so many people coming here from around the world. It’s one of those things that I come back for!

Unfortunately I only know one language (English – US)

So when I go into the New Posts search results, I usually have to hover over the entry to find out whether it is in English or not.

Is there a way can either put the International flag logo next to a thread as a visual as to what language it is likely going to be in, even if it is based on which forum it is posted?

A more complicated option would be to be able to filter the results so only selected languages shows up.

While being able to filter may be the easier way for users, it may not be easier for development or management so a visual of the language (forum) may be a more feasible option.

Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback - we’ve had some discussions about this in the
past, but vBulletin doesn’t really make it easy to filter searches unless
you start playing with permissions IIRC.

I’ll pass the suggestion along, though, for our tech admin to look at.
