Okay this is weird and definitely an issue with opensuse, I use lancelot as my primary launcher you see as I like its no click activation method of opening objects in the menu.
But it doesnt work in openSUSE for some bizarre reason.
I have used this on Kubuntu no issue, even with an update to KDE 4.10 on that system it works fine.
But on openSUSE?
I have no idea why it wont work.
For now I am using the traditional menu, as all the subcategories in openSUSE are a pain to dig though if I dont feel like typing.
you mean that the menus don’t activate on “hover”
Well yes sort of though lancilot does it a little differently.
To enable it, check the Open popups for subcategories option in the Applications tab of Lancelot’s configuration dialogue.
Nope tried that, no dice.
